Any place just over the border has it. A while back, I stopped at the Kwik Trip on Highway 50 and I-94. I grabbed a 12 of Spotted Cow. The cashier carded me. I showed her my DL. She responded "I think you are the first person with a Wisconsin ID to buy this!" I had to explain that I was on my way to Chicago.
Sam Adam Helles. Ran into a coworker that invited me outside to smoke a joint and bought me a beer. I repaid the favor by letting them sample my Malort shot.. should I apologize?
Can still hear the song from their tv ads on Saturday afternoon baseball with Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese
After watching the debacle of the last game of the season, I should be drinking...a lot. Whether it is drowning the sorrows of the season or celebrating that it is over, I am not sure. Fortunately, I am too responsible* to that these days. *And, yes, by that I mean "old and broken."
Trying to live a healthier lifestyle. Also I can't decide if I even like weed anymore but I just got an oz of this shit for $50 shipped with 29% thca. @xtomx check out jk distro.
@bunge what do you have against type c? It's my favorite technology. Besides fire and maybe a few others
The “pin” is inside the device instead of inside the cable. The “pin” is the weakest point of a connection and most likely to fail. A failed “pin” in a cable means you need a new cable. A failed “pin” in a device means you need a new device. if you have a computer with 2-4+ ports it’s not a big deal. If one dies you have others. When it dies on a phone with only one port you need to replace the phone. That and the mess that is the ”standard” which means there are like nine variants of the cables that are all physically identical while serving different purposes including the potential for using a low end cable in a high powered device shorting the cable and causing a fire. Absolute amateur hour. If we were going to standardize, it should have at least been on the safest (most expensive) cables so accidents would be nearly impossible. It would have been better in the first place to standardize on a stronger connection point with only one cable variant with no risk of shorting or fire.
Don't know about that but I have 7 year old phones with type c still working just fine and wireless charging as a failsafe. In 30 years of using USB stuff mini and micro USB are the only ones I've had issue with
