Canyon Ferry Brewery, a teeny brewpub in Townsend, MT. Enjoying a nice flight of Smooth Operator Amber Ale, Broadwater Select Lager and Silos Milk Stout. Flight of three for $4.00. All delicious. Just about the only thing in this jerkwater town.
Update. It was "comedy night" (at 6:00 pm!). Very different than I expected for Western Montana. Two gay comedians, two very strange "self loathing" comedians and another one. Terrific for a free comedy night.
At the "world famous" Beer Parlor in Hot Springs, MT. Enjoying a huckleberry beer. Tasty, even if I am not fan of fruit beers. It is 106 degrees today. We are heading to the hot springs pool to cool off a bit, as the pools are "only" 95, 101 and 104 (and 110)
It is pretty much record heat in Western Montana. Wild fires breaking out all over the place. We have avoided them, fortunately.
It appears I have underestimated Montana. It seems a lot of folks that WFH permanently have moved there and they elect a Democrat once in a while too, unless Steve Bullard really should be president..
That is a lot of Old Style, too bad the limit is one. Reminds me of the early days of the pandemic buying toilet paper.
