I have not seen it mentioned how wonderful the pregame tailgate party was, and the wondeful crowd that was in attendance in section 101.

It is sad that there isnt that kind of turnout cant happen every game. I suspect that if the team were more competitive that the crowds would be more like this past Saturday's.

Did anyone notice the guy at the tailgate party who looked like Kevin McAllister?

I guess this is a good thread to post this..,

On opening day, I'm driving around the Swamp to get to Lot 16A, and a security person told me that lot 16 was closed because of the Nets game! Needless to say, I didn't make it to the tailgate, didn't march in, and walked forever just to get to the ESC ticket window.

Did this happen to anyone else?

These guys are comical. As long there is not a State Trooper next to these parking attendants, I never listen to them. They are always wrong. Next time just keep driving, keep the windows down, and pretend you don't speak English.

What do you mean? That real Metro fans should'nt care about getting back together with friends and acquaintances after a (too) long of an off season? Or that a sense of camaraderie is not important? If so then how did you recieve the divine power to read peoples hearts and minds to determine who is, and who is not a "Real fan"? Your grandiloquence leaves me flabbergasted.

After all we have been so blessed with so much wonderful soccer the past eight years, surely that stellar play is enough to keep bringing back the fans!

And who the hell is Tina Youthers? I am not up on who you children are watching these days.

She's OK..... no Katherine Hepburn mind you and certainly not top 10 (maybe #12). But oh, how Kate would set all of us doughboy's hearts on fire!
WWI, now that was a war! All we had to eat was mud and dead Germans, and we were thankful for that!

    Better yet, Justine Bateman.

The first time Justine Bateman stepped in front of the cameras was for a Wheaties commercial. She was sixteen years old and shortly after the commercial aired, she had already landed her role of Mallory Keaton on TV's highly rated show, "Family Ties" (1982). Justine, born February 19, 1966 in Rye, New York, is the daughter of Kent and Victoria. She is very close to her younger brother, actor Jason Bateman.
