OK, that sucks SO BAD! I hate magic, and I hate things I can't figure out.
Saw a guy on TV once do a card trick that blew me away. Some French dude.
Either way, I would split the $10 if you post this to google answers and let them explain how it works.

OK, saved my money. DId a little research on Google.
Here is the answer.
If you take two numbers and add them together, then subtract them from the original number, you will ALWAYS get a multiple of 9.
(72 = (7+2=9) now subtract 9 from 72 and you get 63)

Here is the trick. EACH time you press the magic circle, the symbols for ALL MULTIPLES of 9 change equally. If you have a "book" symbol for 9, then there is also a book symbol for 18,27,36,45,54,63,72,81,90,99).
That is what was getting me. I did not notice that the symbols were changing each time.
So, I saved us the $10.
