OK, you out did me, mainly thanks to that outrageous price from STL to KC. It makes the KC BBQ an even better deal. Great news on all fronts for the Wizards. It's really hard not to get excited when you hear it directly from the man. Thanks
Just renewed my 3 season ticket packages today! I've been pricing charter jets for my company's business trip/tour through Canada this summer. It all sounds cheap when someone quotes you 60K for four flights...
I've thought ticket prices have been very reasonable. I think last year, I bought a 6 flex pack for $66. I attended 3 regular season games bring 3 other people + the Wizards-Menace game that I bought from the Menace. Then I had to pay $7 for parking for $29 for 2 people. Pretty good deal. No flexible 6 packs this year. I went to buy single game tickets thru the Wizards website and Ticket Bastard. $16 + $4.50 = $ 20.50 per ticket plus a $2.50 ticket email charge. For $11.50, I'll wait in line a few minutes and buy at the window. I can use the time I waited in line to pay for parking - which is a nice new feature. But it tends to encourage more cars and less car pooling.
