At the VIp tent before the game Peter answered a few questions from people who had already paid for next years season tickets. 1-- He said the Fire in 2003 would once again have a home opener late in april and that the first two home games would have only the permanent east stand up but they were going to try to have standing room all along the other 3 sides. 2-- If the Fire got in the playoffs next year they were going to try and have them at Soldier field. 3-- If they ever build a soccer specific stadium in the suburbs he wanted one closer to the the city than Naperville. 4--Peter mentioned the Fire had better season and group sales this year despite their overall attendance being down because of Cardinal stadiums limited capacity. He said he hopes to have even better season and group sales in 2003. Chris armas was also there and he said he would start practicing again in november or december.
just to add a thought we should have armas and whitfield fully healthy by the beginning of the season next year
