I try to watch as much Mexican soccer as possible, but to be honest with you, I was born in TJ but was moved to the states while i was still young. I was raised in the Gringo culure so I really dont understand some of the terminology used in the games... perhaps you can help me out. First of all let me get my terminology barrier out of the way... I dont know what is ment by Carilero, Tapon, Centro de contencion, volante, etc... I have a feeling that Volante= Winger, Centro de contencion= Defensive mid and Carilero = Wing Back but i'm not to certain... anyways it seems to me that before Davino got hurt, Lavolpe liked to pair up Davino and Marquez... My understanding is that lavolpe favors a 3-5-2 formation, with that in mind is it safe to assume that his ideal back line includes Davino, Marquez and Carmona... but then again I also heard that he would like to use Carmona more as right mid... Also I really enjoy watching Omar Baravo and Adolfo Bautista (actually i was following those two even before they came together in Guadljara). It seems to me that Bravo reminds me a lot of a younger Luis Harnadez. I just see that they share a lot of atributes I guess mustly in the fact that they both seem to have that "scent" for the ball, and the explosivness of their speed bursts... I might be off but I think Bravo might have a better arial game than Hernandez but aside from that I see them as similar type of players. Also what ever happend to that 18 year old kid from America, he also had a background from TJ and did pritty good when I got a chance to see him... I want to say that his name was Paco Torres but I can't be to sure

Carril - lane
Yeah Paco Torres- he's 20 now. He plays (subs) for America and wears #26. He also plays for Selección Mexicana sub-20.
