Some taunts in Italian for you going to the game Sunday (my Italian is not very good, so they will be simple): "La tua mamma e di sicilia!" (Your mother is from Sicily) "Prendi un altro torta!" (Take another cake) "Mia nonna va subito!" (My grandmother runs faster) "Sei un uomo!" (You are a man) "Forza USA!!" (USA Force -- a take off on "Forza Italia", the traditional Italian soccer chant) "Le americane sono le pui forti!" (The Americans are the strongest)
some help from an italian american and heres an italian song for when an italian takes a dive "lazy (player name) you better get up, she answers like i am not able, Lazy (player name) you better get up we need the pitch for the table!" a take off of the famous italian american song "lazy mary" if you know the italian lyrics sing em too but i think they are very dirty and if you dont speak italian, well make godfather and sopranos jokes... and if that dont work...just leave a dead horse in their dressing room (JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!)
Re: some help from an italian american Lou Monte!! He was brilliant. Unfortunately, he is known mostly for his silly songs and people forget his true brillnce! Actually, it is a take off on an old southern Italian silly wedding song. Although, yes, some of the lyrics are a little risque. More double meanings than really dirty. The clean lyrics translate something like "Crazy moon, in the middle of the sea, my momma was married." Yes I know, it never really made sense to me either!
