sorry to interupt... due to the fact that i have a yellow card and cannot start my own thread, i am forced to use an exsisting one to ask my question... why can i not send a private message? when will i be able to?
Re: sorry to interupt... Actually, you still can. However, you have to access your control panel, go to private messaging, and MANUALLY type in the name of the person you want to send a PM too. As much as I know that BigSoccer wants to punish people for wrongdoing, they shouldn't make it so bloody hard to PM people.
Once you have been a member for a short period of time, you can PM like anyone else. We have had a rash of people registering and spamming our users and this prevents that.
Huss, I understand BigSoccer's position on that very well. It's just a shame that when you do get a yellow card, you have to jump through hoops to send a PM.
no. i use "jon_doe" because i don't like to display my name on the internet. call me paranoid, but i feel we choose be be what we are. -- are yellow cards indefinite?
just to add... "jon_doe" is an insane* manifestation of myself. not used to create confusion or choas as a described "sockpuppet". *figuratively speaking
