Here's two articles about the game last night. http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/uniontrib/sun/sports/news_1s29sockers.html http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/uniontrib/sun/sports/news_mz0s29socker.html Sounds like the MISL has got some really screwed up rules. Why not 1 point per goal like the rest of the soccer world? Oh well, hopefully the Sockers will do better in their next game.
Tough to play the Wave in the first game. I'd have to agree that the rules are messed up. The scoring is more like basketball, but it is kind of cool that there is a three point shot. It makes the game a little more exciting sometimes, and the scoreline sounds better to casual fans.
The Comets have to do it also. Don't be surprised if KC beats them. They are improved over last year.
It didn't look like Tatu had any problem "adjusting". I'm sure the SD head man will be able to overcome also.
No kidding, Tatu's an old man yet he's still tearing up the league. He's the man, even if he is on the Sidekicks
