Best soccer supply shop in the DC Metro area is in Virginia. It's called Matt Godek's Soccer/Rugby Store. It is on Gallows Road near the intersection of Arlington Boulevard (Route 50). 1. Take Route 50 East from DC into Virginia. A very rough approximation would be 5-10 miles (someone help me out here). 2. At the intersection of Route 50 and Gallows Road, it'll be an off-ramp that goes up to an overpass, go RIGHT at the light onto Gallows Road. 3. Go through 2 or 3 more lights until you reach a major intersection with Lee Highway (Route 29). It has a Taco Bell on the opposite left corner of the intersection. 4. Go straight through the Lee Highway intersection toward the METRO (subway/underground/tube whatever, we call it the Metro in DC). 5. Between Lee Highway and the Metro on your left will be a bunch of warehouses. In the parking lot of one is a red white and blue sign for the Rugby/Soccer Store. From the opposite side it says Soccer/Rugby store. Go to the back of the warehouses and you'll see Matt Godek's Rugby/Soccer store. It's about 60% soccer stuff, and they have the best supply and selection around. If they dont' have something you want, your best bet is to order it online either via DCUnited.com or MLSgear.com but I feel obligated to mention that jerseys and some other things are available here at the BigSoccer.com store. -Tron
The Modell's in downtown Bethesda on Wisconsin Avenue has a few United home and away jerseys for sale. You can find them on the second floor right near the staircase.
