I have a few bucks squirreled away that I am planning to start investing with.

Any opinions about viable soccer related stocks or other investments?

    We're not talking millions here.

Put your money into something useful, instead.

    1) You'll have to invest overseas b/c there are very few publicly traded teams of any sort here in the US, and no soccer teams. Only the Boston Celtics come to mind.

    2) Investing in an English club like ManU or Leicester City is like blindly picking a tech stock. The market is wayyyy to volatile. This is primarily due to the collapse of their TV deal with ITV. Best guess is that it's going to take a few more years before England's teams' finances shake out.

    3) Here's a chart showing the performance of Premiership stocks over the last year. It's not good:

It should be noted: Newcastle outperforming every other side. :D
