if you go back a few pages or to the beg...me and dgreat mentioned this...most MLS stadiums with the exception of real salt lake stadium and this red bull stadium...all new mls stadiums look terrible, same as that ugly as territorio santos modelo
I wouldn't say it's ugly. But it's pretty plain and simple, like most new MLS stadiums. There was no need for that inauguration.
I actually think its ugly...its ridiculous that as hott as it gets in torreon there isnt any protection from the sun...
Re: MLS | FMF | rest of CONCACAF http://futbolfanatic.blogspot.com/2009/10/el-azteca-va-tomando-su-look-europeo.html
I actually really like Red Bull arena. Very different then the architectural pattern that's been set by MLS for their stadia. I wish Santos would have gone for a similar look. Instead, we have have an MLS stadium in Torreon. At least it's still an improvement.
We're talking about soccer stadiums here. This is an NFL stadium that doubles as a decent soccer venue.
Agreed on RBA. From the inside it definitely looks reminiscent of an English or Euro stadium. I hope the plans the Quakes have for what amounts to a RBA lite pan out that well too.
I can't wait for the chivas stadium to be done, but ya that redbulls stadium is looking nice. Pern your just a hater, and tanosiempre your seriously retarded.
you obviously dont know what you are talking about noob...if you were to read moron you would see most ppl agree with me and its a fact.. seeing my high school stadium had about the same seats that san jose's stadium and most texas high school stadiums are bigger or around the same size as the crew stadium, & the wizard's stadium...cant fack with texas high school football...
San Jose Earthquakes and KC Wizard's present stadiums are temporary. KC Wizard just started to build their $200 million dollars stadium. San Jose will be very soon. Here are some pics of KC Wizard's new stadium: Here is the San Jose Earthquakes new stadium:
^^^^ i know that and good for them but this discussion is now..and now they dont have one...and theyve played in high school stadiums... so my statement stands untill their first official game.. como ves dgreat....todavia no entienden estos weyes...haha
San Jose has never played in a high school stadium. They've played in two college stadiums however. As for "cookie cutter", if the KC and SJ stadiums that are forthcoming are cookie cutter it's a good thing. They're cookie cutter off of the RBA/Euro design which is a great design for a soccer stadium.
^^^ by high school stadium i dont mean it literally..i say it because my high school stadium and many more around my area are way bigger than that.... yall really need to read the thread i dont want to keep explaining myself...shitt
Well that's because Texans are whacky for pointy ball. Most of the country couldn't give two shits about high school football by comparison. Most high school football stadiums are 3,000 or less seats, not the 10,000 seat monsters of Texas.
ahh there you go...get my point... so in my books theyre(quakes, wizards, crew) high school stadiums there is only 2 stadiums that i actually like in MLS real salt lake stadium & red bull arena... the rest of the stadia is quite bad to be honest.
