Rodri leaving has allowed Yamal and Williams to go inside even farther.

Well deserved title, sometimes there is justice in futbol. I thought Spain was a young team that would maybe be ready to contend at the WC in two years, but obviously they are way ahead of schedule. Nico Williams is a superstar.

There's also that other player, Yamal something or other. He was quite nice. And I heard he just turned 17.

Excited for Copa final tonight. I’ve been low on sleep, and having 45min of uninterrupted droning and suffer ball are sure to rectify my insomnia.

Yamal was going to be a superstar. it was inevitable, after he was blessed by the great one.

Do you have a chimichurri recipe to inspire us this evening?

And who has a killer Bandeja Paisa for Colombia fans?

It’s simple, chop garlic and parsley, add olive oil, red wine vinegar, chili flakes, and a bit of lemon, salt and pepper, there’s your chimichurri.

    Can’t help you there.

Colombian fans are trying to enter the stadium without tickets, and some of them are successful, as videos show. Gates were shut down and the start of the match is being delayed. Another black eye for the organizers and also for unruly South American soccer fans.

Looks like the US needs to get its act together both on and off the field before ‘26.

I was hoping for a late equalizer, a go-ahead goal in E.T., a late own goal forcing PK, which of course England loses.

    But you can’t have everything.

Again, CONMEBOL is running the show here, because they wanted to run this cheap to make as much $$$ as possible. The usual infrastructure, standards and protocols have not been followed.

Yeah, it's been a while but I don't remember really bad issues like this in 1994. I went to a knock out match in Orlando and things went fine.

Regardless, I hope US Soccer is taking a really long look at all of this. Even if this is mostly a CONMEBOL eff-up don't be complacent.
