If Scotland were ever to reach a final against a major Euro or SA power, the whole planet would be behind them. Rappers and their pit bulls in kilts kinda shit. And they could nationalize Ray Hudson for two weeks 'cause he sounds like he's from there anyhow

With England v Namibia reduced to a 10 over game, Scotland will have to hope their game against Australia is rained out (or pull off a massive upset) if the Scots want to advance at England's expense.

I am watching the Euros on FOX with comments from Alexis Lalas, Peter Schmeichel & Daniel Sturridge. Hard to find more awful crew than this one... What have I done to deserve that....

Alas just compared England to the Dallas Cowboys....SMFH....Such a cretin.

Sickening. This is what you get when you bring in someone from a non-footballing culture, even tho he personally grew up with a ball at his feet. This is why our other sports make us an unsuitable nation for a soccer league.

You can take the man out of America...

When I think of Sturridge, I think of
    https://www.fanatix.com/news/ouch-z...ls-liverpool-striker-daniel-sturridge/161208/

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has gone and done it again…

The PSG striker, currently in the running for the Ballon D’or award, has shocked football fans with a pretty disrespectful comment on Liverpool’s in form hitman Daniel Sturridge.

Asked which Premier League strike duo he preferred – Manchester United’s Van Persie and Rooney combo, or Liverpool’s Suarez and Sturridge partnership, dubbed the ‘SAS’, Ibrahimovic replied:

    “Who is Sturridge?”

Yah. I connected my TV to a VPN as soon as I saw that FOX had the rights to all the major football tournaments for the foreseeable future. I could stand it if it was just the studio crew that was poor, but the play-by-play guys are terrible too.

Would recommend, at least for these short int'l tournaments.

I remember when I first came to the US, I went to a bar with an American friend I'd recently met, and Notre Dame was playing Michigan in gridiron football. He told me, "This for us is like for you Argentina against Germany at the WC final". I was thinking, "no, these are two university teams, with amateur players. Argentina vs Germany are our best players playing for the World title of the most popular sport in the world".

I get it, the guy meant well, he was trying to get me to understand that Notre Dame vs Michigan is very big in the US. But I'm sorry, to me it's not a good comparison.

    Too funny.

It’s in Spanish, but an English fan drank too much and woke up in the morning alone at the stadium where England had played the night before.

So, sounding clearly hangover, he posted a video mumbling about waking up alone at the stadium.

    Now, that’s proper footballing culture!

Someone forgot to tell these teams that all basketball games are supposed to be 99-99 entering the final 2 minutes. Or 66-66 if it's college.
