The I Hate Christian Laettner 30 for 30 was good. And the one about Kzyrzyjet-ski's 1st recruiting class. But yeah, they are easy to hate. And Scheyer has one of the most punchable faces in CBB right now. Grayson Allen should be punched every game.

The battle between the left side of the Patriots’ O line and the Seahawks’ right side of their defense is reminiscent of Bambi vs. Godzilla. The Patriots need to start running bootleg passes or something or else they have no chance. Maye is playing like a game manager and not an MVP. Either the Pats need to change their offensive thinking and schemes, or Maye is going to have to start playing hero ball.

Soundman is doing his damn job, I'll say that. Metallica never gave Newsted or Trujillo this much to work with, certainly not live.

But yeah, the whole idea sucks, and so does this music. The saddest thing, in some way, is that they're clearly channeling Black rappers, not the Jimmy Dean (Big Bad John), C. W. McCall (Connnnvoyyyyyyyy) or Charlie Daniels (Uneasy Rider) types. If they'd play polkas and waltzes and jigs and reels and leave us out of it, great. Take the snare off the two and four. In fact, bring a guy carrying a bass drum. He must play every beat. Or use an orchestra- that's sure to reap praise from the Shockley fellators. But you start adding vocal inflections you didn't learn at home, rhythms you didn't learn at the local hoedown or in your church, playing on the perimeter of the exotic sensuality of Blackness while being affiliated with a bunch of racist pedophiles, somebody iseventually going to ask them to stop trying to sound like the good guys.

Neither is the Ford family. Although William Clay Ford ran the Lions in such a way that it's amazing they never folded.

A popular theory amongst many uncles though is that he was given the Lions so he wouldn't touch Ford Motor Company.

I've sat courtside a couple times at NBA games. People do not appreciate how fast these guys move. For their size especially.

All these shows are lip-synched nowadays AFAIK. But the case here from what I've seen is that there was sound delay with video feed. Can still laugh at a the amateur level of production.

This guy was always cringe. And yeah, very bizarre to talk about the show being for "Jesus loving people" for someone who lived a life of debauchery, sang and joked about underage sex, strippers and etc ... These people have no shame.

And 7 foot is even bigger when you are sitting down.

I was in the office sitting at the reception desk one Sunday when a guy who was 7' 1" walked in. From that angle, he filled the entire room.

I eventually sold him a house and got to know him pretty well. He had a brother who was 7' who played basketball on Andrew Gaze's Seton Hall teams back in late 80s. He also had a brother and sister who were twins and both 6' 5". Obviously I wanted to meet his parents, see where all this size came from. The dad was maybe 6' 1" and the mother maybe 5' 10". Where did that size come from?

Anyway, as I was pondering this, I got thinking of the twin brother. Can you imagine being 6' 5" and being the runt of the family?

The whole alternative show MAGA put on reminds me of David Brent's dance in The Office sitcom (British version).

Back when I was living in Memphis, worked with a guy from South Sudan (Juba). He was 6' 4" and said he was the smallest of his brothers (4 or 5, I forget). I knew enough to know that was a place of tall people, but not like that. But I chuckled when he told me.

Have you considers putting him on ignore? Rather than continually complaining? Does he write good, thoughtful posts often enough to justify his posts like this one that you’re complaining about?

When I was in grad school, I sat under the basket for an LSU/Auburn game. We were mercilessly heckling this fat guy on Auburn named Charles Barkley. A couple of times, he wouldn't bother going back on defense, so LSU had a couple 5 on 4 situations. We were on him for that. Then LSU gets a steal and Barkley is still at midcourt looking out of gas. But he was faking it. LSU half-assed a pass and Barkley came to life, tipping it and catching up with it on a dribble. He's running right at us, looking like a water-balloon beneath his jersey and shorts, but hauling some serious ass. He goes up for the dunk and it's almost like he was blocking out the sun.

Even when he was a total lard-ass, Barkley was fast and athletic a.f.
