    Why wasn't Uzbekistan put in France's group? I have the sound off and don't see what issue there would be.

    Instead France gets Norway with Senegal.

    With 2/3 of 3rd place teams advancing, not making R32 would be a massive, comprehensive disappointment and failure.

    Its very hard to see how Portugal and Colombia don't both advance fairly comfortably; probably before they even meet each other on Matchday III.

    But agree with you in the sense that each round has a match worth watching in that group. Can't really say the same for about half the other groups.

    Ask and you shall receive. Can't afford to dick around like the start of the last WC though, because a 2nd-place finish probably leads to a Spain - Argentina round of 32 clash.

    If both Ireland and Northern Ireland qualify, and then advance, could they meet in the round of...128 (or what ever that round is)?
