It's weird that the women's team can be diverse but not the men's. It's almost as if Lalas is just dropping outrage bait for outrage clicks.
Isnt Lalas just saying something we’ve been saying at bigsoccer since before it was bigsoccer, namely, that the US doesn’t have one style like, say, Holland, it has many styles? And that is an obstacle we have to overcome? And then there was the resistance to all of Jurgen’s Germans, especially Timothy Chandler. I just read the words on the page, I don’t know if he has a history of this. But yeah, if he posted the same thoughts here but with a screen name that hides his identity it wouldn’t be remarkable.
Lets see if riBer fills the stadium in Seattle. Traditionally Boca is the club of the people and riBer is the club of the privileged. So, probably their fans will have the means to travel and follow them. But I doubt we'll see the same passion we see in Miami. It's amazing what's happening in Miami!
Oh my God, he is so full of shit. He needs to be kicked off any broadcast and only asked questions for click-bait articles.
It's well-known that Lalas is a Trumpite and an idiot, so I can't say I'm shocked. Also, he thrives on just saying stupid shit just to be "controversial."
Better get this in before River Plate plays. South American teams are unbeaten so far! Nah, they should beat the Japanese team, but we'll see.
US hockey Olympic schedule is out. Men's team will be grouped with Latvia, Germany, and Denmark. https://teamusa.usahockey.com/2026olympicmenschedule
Lala & Carli Lloyd were doing some press for 365-days-till-kickoff in NYC. Serving ice cream outside Fox News studios or some shit. And the only thing I could think of - yet another gdamn WC with this talentless but too opinionated muppet.

Capacity crowd @ Orlando CWC match! Journalist Maher Mezahi reported on social media that ahead of kick-off between South Korean side Ulsan and South African outfit Mamelodi Sundowns, there were just 97 people inside the 25,500 capacity venue. With 10 minutes to go before the match started, Mezahi shared that he believed just 557 fans had made it to the game. It was later announced that the official attendance was 3,412.
I mean this in the most positive way. She has the capability to be a dominant GC rider. Her win at La Vuelta seemed so easy, as if she was just having a walk on the beach. Were it not for an ugly crash, she certainly would have won last year's Tour and very nearly did anyway*. *By the way, this was probably the greatest ending to any race of any kind that I've ever witnessed.
I saw a few months before kick off prices for package(?) something going into the thousands, iirc even far over 10,000$.
Are those the famous cheapest tickets, originally priced at 350$? The imbecils thought they were having a goldmine and were going to use the scam ticket sales method of dynamic pricing.
Since you've all been asking, here are my thoughts on the Club World Cup so far. Well, I finally buckled and got DAZN. Between DAZN and Apple TV, I'd trade my kingdom for an English-language announcing crew that doesn't make me want to vomit. Why is this so hard? Both platforms seem to hire on the assumption that if someone is English (or at least sounds vaguely English) then they simply MUST know something about soccer, right? The games themselves have been interesting so far. When people say that only UEFA teams matter, it strikes me as extraordinarily imperialistic. As if things that happen in the 90% non-European world are utterly insignificant compared to what happens in the 10%. Most of the games between European and American teams have been fascinating and the clash of styles is far more pronounced than at the World Cup. Regarding the crowds, yes, some have been paltry. But guess what? When Suriname plays Uzbekistan in an expanded 48-team World Cup, it's going to be exactly the same. FIFA doesn't care about the concept of supply and demand because they're making far more money off the underlying grift than the actual games.
For all those who celebrate. Was watching the Knicks in a bar and only heard the audio later on Stern. Al Michaels laughed his ass off when he came in
