You could be like the Revs, when they came out with their new badge a couple of years ago, with the tagline "No FCs Given."

Concepts generally aren't good team names. Revolution, Jazz, Heat

Right. If a kid can't draw a picture of one, then it sucks as a name. What does a mutiny look like, a space bat?

Like the Utah Mammoth, why couldn't they put an S on the end of it so each player would be an individual mammoth? So they all are supposed to make up one complete mammoth?

COYBC! Really hoping we can get the Tyne Wear Derby back in the Premier League

That said, with Coventry we'd get Lamps back in the top flight, and with Sheffield we'd get another American ownership group.

Given FIFA's credibility the group draw should be done by an independent body. The Orange one and his cabinet would be perfect!

Ps..the USMNT has a decent chance if no European or South American teams qualify.

    On the road
Given the mental makeup for the team, I give it a 50/50 that the USMNT makes it out of the group.

Its saddening that a generation after Beasley and Donovan shocked the world, that this supposed "golden generation" can't do much better than win stoopid cashgrabs on home soil.

That said, given FIFA's moronic overexpansion of international play, their cozying up to human rights violators/dictators, their corruption, and their letting migrant workers die in the desert, its hard to care as much as I once did.

    1994 WC in US
    • Total Attendance: 3,587,538
    • Average Attendance per Game: 68,991
    • Number of Venues: 9
    • Number of Matches: 52
    They'll be 104 matches in '26
Will need an average of 34,496 bodies in the seats to beat record. I went in '94...I ain't going in '26! :coffee:

I see 2026 shaping up like this:

WC final will be USFCUnited over Mexico, Dos A Cero at MetLife. I run on the field naked painted red, white & blue. Listen to the celebrations inside the East Rutherford police station.

Semiquincentennial of the US 'Merica followed soon after by a Donnie coronary. Maybe that day.

Tottenham finishes inside the top 10...maybe.
