Never mind about who it was. The initial reports called it a pogrom (turns out it were the maccabi nethanyahu supporters, who were on a premeditated "pogrom" of which the israeli gov./nethanyahu knew about), which is one of the worst hate crimes in my book. So telling someone probably given whatever is part of it, is far beyond acceptable, how much one may dislike the person in question.
To remind those, who think what happened in Amsterdam is a sign of Jews against Muslims/Moroccans, that's not the truth. I give you this: Warm moment for fans and family: Nouri honoured in Johan Cruijff Arena 16.29, Nov. 17 2024 During Ajax Legends' charity match with Real Madrid Legends on Sunday, the spectators paid an impressive tribute to Abdelhak Nouri in the 34th minute. This happened under the watchful eye of his family. As the 34th minute started, a roaring applause rang out in the packed Johan Cruijff Arena. That was intended for Nouri, who suffered severe brain damage in a cardiac arrest in 2017. A beating heart could be seen on the LED screens, and the text #staystrongappie appeared on the boarding . Nouri's family, who attended the charity game in Amsterdam, also saw that. pic.twitter.com/6vAFeq73EE — AFC Ajax (@AFCAjax) November 17, 2024 As part of the 125th anniversary of the Amsterdam team, Ajax Legends took on Real Madrid Legends. The tickets for that game were sold out in a short time. Louis van Gaal, who is on the bench as coach of Ajax Legends, was named an honorary member of the club before the start. Ajax fans, who call themselves Superjoden (Superjews) are composed of a huge number of Moroccan fans, as well as players in the youth teams. This is the true story of the relation between Jews and Moroccans/Muslims at Ajax in Amsterdam.
Sweet goal. Shit celly. Christian Pulisic just did the Trump dance after scoring a goal 😭 pic.twitter.com/N1mlGPs9o5— FearBuck (@FearedBuck) November 19, 2024
Never forget, if you're a liberal you absolutely need to keep your politics out of the game, but if you are conservative, it's totally ok to make political statements during the game.
I don’t know who’s watching this Thursday Night Football game but football in the snow is how it was meant to be played.
Yeah, was an entertaining watch to say the least. Its interesting that even a match filled with commercial breaks can still be entertaining af when the game actually means something. An obvious lesson learnt that MLB and NHL continues to ignore for some reason (at least NBA is trying, with their Cup thingy).
Yeah but nobody takes that NBA in-season thing seriously. And the courts are giving people aneurysms. Hockey is a sport where you can't loaf or you get your head rearranged. So when I go to a Devils game it's more of an event with constant action than say, watching a rich loafer like Ben Simmons who's always injured for the Nets. The other night my son & I were flipping back & forth between NBA and a college game. NBA - dribble down slowly (what happened to fast breaks?), 5 dudes standing around the perimeter. Screen for the dribbler, if he's got nothing kick out for 3. Even on a rebound 10 feet from the basket they kick it out for 3. To me it's just become unwatchable. College they still work it inside at least. NOW GET OFFA MY LAWN, SONNY!
During the drive that ultimately led to a Steelers FG to make it 10-6, it went from barely snowing to full white-out conditions and snow-covered field within a span of about 4 plays! I'm not sure if anyone actually saw the FG attempt go through the uprights. But hey, they went 60 yards against the wind in a blizzard, just give 'em the 3 points.

What a knucklehead! Racing won this afternoon a continental tournament after several decades. This guy carried the skull of the grandfather who made him a Racing fan. And you say that you are nuts 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/Fx4m8IDRAy— Hernán Federico Pacheco (@hernanfpacheco) November 24, 2024
Me thinks he'd like to chat about football strategy in the car park Roy Keane’s just offered an Ipswich fan out in the car park😭😭😭“I’ll wait for you in the car park and we can discuss it!”😳 pic.twitter.com/gJsEQkU1Ow— The 44 ⚽️ (@The_Forty_Four) November 24, 2024
Just don't get on his bad side. He's probably still waiting in the car park. He was going for the ball! Which one, I don't know.
Yeah, I rarely agree with Howard's "analysis" in the NBC studio, but he was spot on with that. I liked how he wasn't saying Pulisic couldn't do such a celebration, but that he had to own it if he was going to.
If you want to do the dance of a man adjudicated liable for rape then don't be surprised if it isn't great for your european career i guess
They all want to be assholes but not judged for it. I heard this term "Dicktim" when Biden called a family to wish the kid Merry Christmas and the dad told him Let's go Brandon. Biden played it off. But the Dad cried about how he wasn't an asshole. Dicktim, act like a dick but play the victim.
