I do declare! You sir, have sullied the good name of my fair city and will not, will not stand for it!!
You weren't born there, so you don't HAVE to defend it... whatcha gonna do anyway- put a pigeon's head under my sheets?
It has been my home more than any other place. And I would l leave tickets to birdland or smalls jazz club and a slice of proper pizza. Try to culture you up.
@Cascarino's Pizzeria LGM!! This team is showing the ability to fight back all the team. Seen My Jets said bye bye Bobby?!!.
My bad. I thought you had relocated as an adult for some reason. I don't get the recipe etched in granite ting with pizza. It's like a fiery debate about who makes the best pork rinds. It doesn't matter. Besides, there are Italian-descended folks living here who make great pizza. There was a great pizzeria in two locations until about 25 years ago, when they shut down and a hipster indie grocery store bought the name and the ovens so the sort of person who's wealthy enough to sit around Five Points in ATL all day could sit in their small, quaint alt houses and enjoy it. I guarantee you Smalls, Mezzrow and the rest are frequented by tourists as much as residents. Just like most of the people who live here haven't sent their kids to Space Camp.
You make me wanna shout! Kick my heels out and shout!! Don't disrespect Genny Cream Ale. There is no local Beer out here all though lots of micro breweries. Wings, specifically, the drum part all day.
I don't know. Food is important and the fact that you can get authentic food of just about any country of the world in NYC is a big appeal of living here. Its not even just every country. You can get great food that originated in pretty much any region of any country here. Pizza isn't even the big appeal because, as you said, you can find great pizza everywhere with a little effort. But there are many things you simply can't get if you don't live in NYC.
Cream Ale is the only good product from Genny.Yeah even up here we have micros.Very hit or miss in regard to quality. How hot on the sauce?
Yeah, an Alabamian would say that. Even I recognize the South rules with BBQ & grits. You've likely never had good pizza in your life unless you came up to the Pizza Belt at some point.
I like RR, but it's like if a good beer and 7Up birthed an abomination. It's the labradoodle of beers.
I don't have beer very often these days, but I'm fine if I just go with a couple of Genny tall boys. Decent beer, and as cheap beers go, it's the best.
IMO, the best of the crap mass produced American beers. In college, we fondly called it "Miller Heavy."
I had a slice or two in NY decades ago while watching folks mop the floors in Times Square. Those people you skipped over in my post didn't lose their Italianness because they moved here to live with Nazis.
