Why is this being discussed for the 8,417th time on Big Soccer? Honestly? We know the players don't like it. We know the fans don't like it. We know it's not optimal. Why do the people on here consistently beat this dead horse.
There are always recycled threads on BigSoccer - because there are always new people joining in. Just don't open threads if you're tired of the subject.
But it's the SAME PEOPLE bitching about it over and over again. And it's not like there's new perspective that can be brought into it. But you're right...if I don't like what I should just change the channel.
The first ESPN match I watched from Naperville I said to my wife that the broadcast looked like one from my local cable access days at channel T in North Jersey during the early '80's, only with better equipment.
There is no higher location on the west side unless they wanted to spend big bucks building something, which they don't. The east side is higher but then they would be shooting into the sun. This is it people deal with it.
