I think it's more of the radio station and what time slots they can fill.

But why 1230? You'd think they'd want Eagle with a simulcast on thecrew.com.

 

i think this is great!as for the time slot most of our matches are saturdays. i thinkn the time is rather good. at least it isnt like 8 or 9 in the morning when none of us drinkers are up that early on a saturday

 

Better than nothing that's for sure.

 

I think it should be pre-game. Be good for a tailgate.

 

Wow, something cool happens and all you guys can do is complain? The Blue Jackets radio show airs at like 9am-10am and people happily tune into the show and call in as well, we should be happy that any soccer radio show is happening at all.

Pregame would be a bad idea because then they couldn't get any guest because no coach would want to call in from across the states to be on the radio when they have a game to prepare for.

i'd think it's a horrible sign if everything comes from the same station... this is a another station in the area seeing some promise in the crew

 

You guys are right, I hate the fact a reputable media outlet has shown a big enough interest in the sport to devote an hour to it a week.

I don't know about you, but my problem is that I'm still sleeping at this time!! However, on game days it does give a little something to start your day out on the right foot...

 

Tell them to get a bigger tower, or an affiliate in Akron or a webcast.

I can't get their damned show.

But I do very much agree with Eggy on this: a meaningful pregame show to listen to in the parking lot would be tres cool.

 

Well, 1230 does have a much better night signal than 1460 does...not that it matters much for an 11 am show.
