hey DC fans, I have a friend staying near Dupont Circle on the weekend of Feb. 15th and he's desperate to find a place to watch ManU-Arsenal.
Does anyone know of any nearby pubs that would be showing it?
Much obliged for any help in the matter.

I hope that Lucky Bar shows it, but so far, the FA Cup matches have been at their sister bar - the Capital Lounge, which you can find at the same website. Fados might be a bit closer than the Cap Lounge: http://www.fadoirishpub.com/dc.html

Of course, Summer's shows everything: http://www.summers-restaurant.com/

I watched the Palace-Liverpool FA Cup match at Capitol Lounge on Sunday. Apparently, they have to show them there (and not at Lucky Bar) because they don't have enough room on the Lucky Bar roof for the requisite satellite dish. They are planning to remedy this situation by building some sort of roof-top structure for the dish, but I don't think it will be ready by Feb. 15.

Capitol Lounge is easily accessible by Metro (Capitol South station on the Blue and Orange lines), and serves a nice breakfast (mmmm, homemade doughnuts...). FA cup matches usually have a $10 cover charge (set by Setanta, the satellite company).
