Besides the usual fine writing by John Lewis and insights by Revs' assistant coach John Murphy there's another very good reason to pick up Soccer New England [www.soccernewengland.com].

In the January edition [Volume 21 #304] there's an absolute must-read article by Joyce Furia detailing Dean Conway's resignation from Massachusetts Youth Soccer. Conway goes into great detail on the inner workings of MYSA, and along the way he discusses one of our favorite subjects: MAPLE.

    Good stuff...very good stuff!

    Two things shock me, Dan:

    1) The unsolicited plug. Thank you. BTW...the February issue will also kick much butt, with post-draft analysis for Revs and Breakers, some follow up on the MYSA situation, as well as news from Connecticut Junior Soccer where they are in the midst of a fairly contentious presidential race. Also, also, SNE has Brad Feldman at the draft in KC working on a detailed story about what is going down there.

    2) That you read.
