Well, the past few weeks have been rather difficult for us here at the Soccer Fanatics Radio Show, but the show must (and will) go on...

Ever since I have left the show (for the City of Brotherly Love), things have been very difficult in terms of the equipment at the studio. We have had issues with the sound board in the "newsroom studio", and we have had major issues with the main computer in the "Channel Z". Last week, in our most recent encounter of technical problems, the phone interface (the thingy that makes it possible to talk to guests over the phone, on the radio) went bad.

The phone interface, Channel Z computer, and the sound board have been fixed (as far as I know), and the show will return to normal beginning THIS MONDAY (Sept. 29).

We are considering a few minor changes to the show's schedule, in terms of the time the show airs, etc. -- If you have any suggestions/comments, we'd love to hear them.

We are also looking for a co-host somewhere in Lansing, Michigan area, so if anyone can help in that department, let us know.

But for this week's are some of our scheduled guests:

TIM HOLT, the director of the A-League will be on the show to recap the 2003 A-League season, look ahead to the 2004 season with TWO new expansion clubs, and talk about some of the changes with the USL, including clubs moving up and down, etc. -- if you have any questions for Tim, feel free to drop us an email using the online email form (link below).

SCOTT FRENCH from Soccer America is scheduled to be on the show to discuss the Women's World Cup. If you've read the latest issue of Soccer America, you've seen that it's FULL of Scott's work previewing the WWC, and we'll see if he still stands by his prediction that Germany will win it all this year.

IAN MCMAHON - President/GM/Head Coach of the West Michigan Edge of the Premier Development League.

Ian will be on the show to talk about the West Michigan Edge and their new partnership with the Chicago Fire and to talk about youth development and how things are going with his soccer revolution up in Holland, Michigan.

If you have any questions/comments for the show, we encourage you to get involved, and use the online email form:

Thanks for your patience, check the website and the mailing list ( for upcoming changes to the show. We also REALLY appreciate the email and support that we have received during this difficult transition.

    All the best...
