Being that it's a World Cup minifever in (some) US media, I thought I would check up on VS to see what the competition has to say about it. Lo and behold, their sports show "The Daily Line" has dedicated a small part of their show to the World Cup each weekday. The segments I've seen were OK considering that they have no part in the coverage of something done by their much bigger and more famous competitor. I'm not expecting anything close to superb from these people, so I can't say I'm disappointed.

This evening's segment was the host interviewing Cobi Jones. Cobi did say that Bob Bradley's job is on the line on the Algeria game and that Edson Buddle should be a starter. Before that, the host mentioned Maradona's comment about giving Oasis a blank check in case Argentina lost so that they can reunite and perform concerts. Yet, they showed highlights of somes matches that day but not the Argentina match. Like I said, I don't expect great things from them.

If you have time, you might check it out and give your impressions on how they're covering soccer at this time.
