I just recently purchased a Nike T90 Catalyst ball ... it's a nice ball, however I've found it has a tendency to become heavy when it gets wet.

Does this happen to every ball?
Is there a way to stop a ball from taking on water?
Is there a way to make sure the ball "dries out" after a night game?

I took all the air out of the ball last night, and noticed there was actually water coming out of the needle ... Thanks.

since most balls are stitched they all take on water to some degree.
i have the roteiro which is glued together and that never takes on water.

I don't know if any you guys know about this: but I've noticed when I play with other folks matchballs, sometimes the graphics get whited-out.

I know that is also because of continuous play too.

Now I have a Mitre ball that I want to do the same with because the graphics are distracting. is there like a coloring thats harmless I could use?

if you don't kick the ball much it should hold up pretty well.

Thanx, hector, but I've been doing that....so far it's somewhat worked. I'll guess I keep at it.

Something that can affect on your ball is a cold weather. If you pumped yours at home and it looked pretty good I'm sure that after you went outside you would feel like a ball wasn't pumped for a week. It's all because of a cold and water provides it too.
