Re: Front Page of Delco Times 11.18 Wow, look at me standing like I'm about to give you yellow treats.
Re: Front Page of Delco Times 11.18 Alex Rose is my new hero. He started an article, a front page article, with Ad Finem Fidelis. Wow.
Re: Front Page of Delco Times 11.18 The Jolly Franklin was on national TV, ABC played a medley of fans from RFK when coming back from a halftime commercial. The camera zoomed in on a big JF sign one of the SOBs was proudly holding up. National exposure, pretty sweet
Phootball, Philly Style http://scrappleplusiggs.blogspot.com/2007/11/phootball-philly-style.html A view from the blue - a Philly native living in DC gives his views.
Re: Front Page of Delco Times 11.18 Hoozah! Great to see some national exposure for our group! The JF on that sign was fantastic! Cheers to whoever set up the wallbanger! ~Vinny
Re: Phootball, Philly Style Very nice, well written and some good pics showing off the great tee's. ~Vinny
Re: Front Page of Delco Times 11.18 What a bunch of geeks! Seriously, we had like 25 ppl join this weekend, must have been good exposure.
Re: Front Page of Delco Times 11.18 Where does the PA legislature stand at this point - is time runing out?
Re: Front Page of Delco Times 11.18 They are very close to lifting the debt ceiling and passing the bill, from most of our sources. The question is, can they pass these items by Jan 2008?
Re: Front Page of Delco Times 11.18 Well it looks like the Appropriations committee will not meet again until after Thanksgiving. I really think once the committee sends it back to the Senate floor things will happen very quickly. I'm also of the opinion that, even if the Debt Ceiling is not resolved until 2008, getting the amended version of HB1589 passed with the Stadium mentioned is all that the MLS is looking for at this point in order to make their announcement. I'm trying to be patient, as it looks like Garber's 4-6 week estimate is about right.
Re: Phootball, Philly Style Awesome article, makes you proud. I liked how he noted that no one from Seattle was visible to the league.
More Media for SoB's Well Amigos y Amigas, philly.com has picked our story up again! Enjoy here: http://www.philly.com/philly/news/20071202_Pa__ponders__45_million_bet_on_soccer.htm But NB the comment from that Revs-fan SoB (and he's NOT a Son of Ben!!), Jim Kane (who slew Abel) of the Brookside Group!
Re: More Media for SoB's Just checked and the link has ALREADY changed (SEE: Below), so I guess it's one of these stories we are going to have to keep chasing: http://www.philly.com/philly/news/local/12030452.html
