On a scale from Darkhorse to Fox and Hound, how big is Tir Na Nog? I can't make it up til right before kickoff so I'm wondering if I have to watch another qualifier from a seat on the floor.

TnN is closer in size to F&H, but isn't one large space like F&H is. It's definitely larger than the DH, and isn't anywhere near as broken up into smaller sections.

Sadly, my brothers and sisters, I will not be attending Wednesday night's contest, due to lack of available transportation and Additional Assorted issues. I might be able to attend Saturday's contest, but I once again will be forced to either annoy anyone going to the event from the KoP area, or will once again battle the evil harbringer of doom, SEPTA.

I was tempted to make the trek up for tonight's event, but I just found out I have an early morning at work tomorrow, so a late night in Philly isn't in the cards.

Seriously. If I NEVER see Marvel Wynne in a USMNT jersey again, it will be too soon. It was like he had a lobotomy before the game, and then just ran in place with his eyes closed for the match!

Not that anyone else was much better on the night.

I do not think I've EVER seen such a lackluster performance. I'm all for experimenting (4-3-3) and changing things up, (torres- OK, wynne? WTF?)but the players have to come out and actually PLAY the friggin game.

They better not try to blame any of those goals on 'the turf' or 'the stadium' - they just didn't PLAY.

Good God that was painful to watch. Let's hope we find a different team on the field in Chi-town.

    SoB roll call.....

So who is going to the Viewing party for USA WCQ on 6/6 at the Iron Abbey in Horsham?

no anti - center city reasons for all you Montco & Bucks Cty (Bucksco ?) SoB's not to go. It's in your backyard with free parking and there is no school for the kiddies on Sunday.

I fully expect to win the longest distance driven contest but dare others to beat me at it.:D

it's a new place but a fun place so check it out.

BTW Lorenzo & Scarf and a few others are making the trip to the windy city & keep an eye out for them in the crowd shots.

Love the Iron Abbey but I will be in beautiful Elmont, New York on Saturday night (my wife will be working in the press box). Check out her blog, http://www.superfectablog.com for tips on making a little money at the OTB before you head to the Iron Abbey.

Yeah, but as of now we're in the e'fn 300 section, gonna try to get down lower. I figure if we just get Scarf drunk (that will be hard ) and let him bull rush us in.

I will even blow off my meeting if I can catch a ride from one of my brethren coming in from KoP... I can even be a designated driver on the way home!

Any recommendations for bars to watch in the city where they'll have audio? The drive to Iron Abbey is a little long for me. Actually, after the last game, maybe I don't want to hear the announcers...
