My IV wasn't bad at all. It's just the way I felt from the magnesium sulfate. Man I thought I was going to spontaneously ignite! I felt like I was in the middle of a fire! And I was so weak! It was horrible. I wish no other mom had to go through it! The most painful IV (and it left a scar) I've ever had was after my auto accident many weeks ago. Those ambulance drivers aren't too cautious. Dang, I cringe just remembering it! Ugh!
Best couples costume I've ever seen was this Halloween. One of the guys I work with and his very very pregnant wife went as a clam digger and a bearded clam. They even passed out business cards....
Pamper your wives. Draw her a bath every night, because once the baby is born - she'll barely have time to grab a shower. It gets better after a bit, but man those first few weeks were rough. And stinky.
Apparently my wife is already 2cm dilated and the thing that holds the water is 50% reduced, so the doc says it can happen at any time. (She is 36 weeks) I'm freaking out.
No. Because it's very good. Just radically different than how you have been living your life up to this point. But you will rock it.
3 months ago i would've thought you meant pump, as in iron ... now i see the missus pumping and it all makes sense.
Tell her to freeze as much as she can! Especially if she's heading back to work. I'm regretting not freezing more when my supply was in its early, abundant days.
heh, i think there's more breastmilk in the fridge and freezer than there is grown-up foods. at least i have my beer fridge ... one type of bottle for the kids, another type of bottle for me (hopefully i don't confuse the two).
i got you all beat. my little man didn't take to the breast very well, so i'm pumping exclusively. i had to buy a deep freezer just for breastmilk. it's insane. right now i have 700 ounces in there.
