since tricky dick is obviously on the way out no matter what happens at euro2004, who should be the next coach of the mighty ORANJE? personally, i think it should be koeman for life, but then AJAX would lose out - who else is there? any young coaches out there to be aware of? is van basten in the pipeline (he's getting his coaching certificate and whatnot together at AJAX)?
I reckon they'll give Hiddink the job. Unless we actually win it in Portugal, of course (fat chance). Wouldn't mind Hiddink either, he did well in France 98.
Re: Re: Re: so who's next? He still serves as a consultant to the Korean FA, I believe. But Hiddink is ambitious: if he thinks Holland have a chance to win the world cup, I can see him taking the job.
Re: Re: Re: so who's next? That's the exact reason Hiddink will never coach South Korea again. Since he is a national hero, and there is no way Korea will ever get as far as did again, why ruin his image? People will love him for the fact he got them 4th place. Hmmmmm, don't let Oscar see this thread
I don't know, they've got 4 years to save money to pay the refs, and this time they don't need to build any stadiums with all that saved up moolah, so.....a place in the final might be possible. They should let that guy from NEC coach Oranje instead of just being the assistant. Let Hiddink be, he'll rot in Hell, you don't want his damnation to rub off on Holland.
I was joking, no way would I want that clown back with Oranje even assuming the KNVB were dumb enough to pull a Barsa and rehire him. I say Koeman next.
