Go on, don't be shy. I know all you libs have been saying you're going to move to Canada, or France, or Australia (no-one on here that I've seen, but a few of my liberal friends are announcing their plans to move Down Under in their away messages--wait til they get there and find a government arguably more conservative than Dubya's!), or Belgium, or what have you...so how are the travel plans coming along??

I propose we use this thread as a clearing house for all the BS liberals who are going to move to Europe or Canada or wherever after Dubya's victory to update us on their travel plans, share resources regarding real estate agents (both here, to sell, and abroad, to buy), discuss which European country it might be best to move to, talk about how to get through the legal red tape of emigrating to another country, etc. Get all the information here in one place so it'll be easier to access, you know.

So come on...Mike Lastort, Michael K., SABuffalo, all you guys who said you were going to move to Europe...how's it coming along? Mel Brennan and Bluedaddy are already over there waiting for you to leave our backwards banana republic and live in the Englightened Republic of Europe...bon voyage, but be sure to keep us updated!

I'm staying put, but I have a feeling many more young people may be moving out of the country for extended periods to tropical paradises like Syria and Iran. ;)

I think they all will really like the new and improved George W. Bush this time! He's got a mandate, a Congress, and a Senate, all to himself, on behalf of the American people! And he won't have Daschle! What a side benefit!

Oh they really are gonna love George this time! We're going to get a lot done...

It's pretty low to kick a man when he's down, Alex. I expected more from you...

Be careful what you ask for...

What's disturbing is that many Reeps here on BS are essentially BEGGING for the next offensive to kick into high gear.

If I were 10 years younger, I would go ahead and get a Spanish passport and bum around Europe for awhile. If King Jorge becomes Generalisimo Jorge, yeah, I'll move the fvck out.

    Don't forget Superdave.

Oh, and Mel is now referring to the United States as 'you' and Europe as 'we'.

    Anyone heard from Loney today?

Really Libs, the sky is not falling. In truth, the candidates weren't that different.

Absolutely not. For one Kerry remains a much taller man than Bush. Also, Bush still looks quite alot like an ape, while Kerry's psuedo-afro sets him quite apart from others.

    Feel free to continue. :)

You may want to rethink your destination - John Howard makes Bush look like a moderate!

I never said I was moving abroad. Although, now that you mention it, a semester or two abroad, leading up to Germany 2006 doesn't sound that bad at all right about now.

Ottawa looks enticing. And I could transfer to the Canadian subsidiary of my current employer. Plus my wife and I are both eligible - even without the job lined up - for immigration.

She'd never go, tho. She's homesick for a place that is 90 miles away.

I for one already left the U.S.

(but I'm not American, so I don't know if that counts...)
