Does Anyone Know How Long Is Lax Airpot To The Stadium The Redbulls Are Playing? And How Much Would A Cab Cost From Airport To Stadium, Im Trying Hard To Get Out There Even Tho Moneys Short.
i've got 1 endline ticket left in section 140 row D right by the players' tunnel. this is the front row of the section (there is no row A-C in the section). PM me if you are interested. I am asking for the face value for this ticket $36. I can email you the ticket asap. i can also mail you the hard ticket as a souvenir. Thanks
You're better off renting a compact car for like $30. I'm sure the cab fare would be far more expensive.
Two tickets in Section 103 endline....$36 face value, selling them for $30 each. PM me. I live in NY, so they will get to you asap.
awwww sheeeet got my flight booked for 7:30am departure out of JFK... get into LA at 11:05am for saturday... can't wait!!! this is gonna be so fun...i'll be rockin my blue Mendes Jersey staying at the doubletree
For all you guys staying at the Hampton in think about if you booked a room in Harlem. The hood is almost as bad. The only place to eat in walking distance is Carl's Jr Hamburgers and Del Taco. I wrote a couple of suggestions about where to eat in the Columbus Crew message board. Look for "Galaxy fan supporting the Crew with suggestions. Maybe help full BTW public transportion in LA sucks big time. Supposed to be a meet and greet at the Carson Doubletree Friday around 6 pm
Harlem is actually a rather nice neighborhood, now, but I think I know what you mean. Thanks for the tip. I have switched to the Double Tree.
Sorry HardHatMike - misunderstood your post. Hope you folks have a good time just like us. Are most of you renting a car to drive to the stadium or you folks marching over? Some of the hotels are only 2 miles away, and it looks like its on the side of a residential area, thats not a long walk.
I'm walking to the stadia, and taxi in and out. Honestly though we might rent a car everything is up there.
for the NYers, people don't walk in LA, completely different culture, plan on either getting a car or taking a cab.
I live in NY, I'm originally from the west coast, you will not find public transpertation there, and if you're only 1 mile from the stadium you're probably deep in the projects, although they won't look like east coast projects
serriously though how is the area around the stadium... and by public transportation... is it hard getting a taxi?
If you're walking from the Hampton Inn, it's not a bad area. It's a main street, housing tracts on either side of the street. Obviously, don't walk around too late at night. You'll need a car if you want to leave the area. There's really not much over there. If you're walking from the Doubletree, it's IMO a long walk on a busy street. You'll cross a freeway, pass a crappy mall, pass a golf course, and you're still not there. People there should try to carpool. Public transportation is spotty on the weekends. A taxi would be difficult to get on your return from the stadium, unless you wait out all the traffic. Be sure to have the number of a cab company, as you may never see a cab on the street. Try to catch a sunset over the pacific. They've been awesome lately.
LA isn't providing any extra public transportation because it's a kind of big event? I thought that's what they normally do for these things. I'm covered because my party rented a car. We're about 40 minutes from the stadium though.
