I went to the quarterfinals and semifinals in Portland and then the 3rd place and final match in Carson. What say you? Most of my WWC debt is paid off. I think. Yay me!
Entire Carson series, entire Portland series. I will never pay off the debt, but I don't actually care.
I went to Philly for the US/Niegria game and met someone then I saw Norway/S Korea and Canada/Japan at foxboro and I saw the US/Norway game at foxboro
You forgot that Mexican restaurant... Ooops, so did I. What the heck was it? I think I was still druck from the night before!! (Let's all hear it for Kells, 2nd & Ash!)
Woohoo! Who are the people in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood....the people that you meet each day. I almost crapped when they guy behind the counter at Starbucks started singing that when the freaky lady (I think it was a lady) walked by with plastic, shiney hair. BTW.....my skin and eyes have a yellowish hue to them, since I got back from Portland. j/k
I went to Boston.. Spent way too much on food and transportation to and from stadium. Cum pay mine off!!!!
I went to all the Portland games. Really great time except standing in line for merchandise for almost the whole second half of the Germany v Russia game (missed like six goals--thanks nephews) and when they ran out of my favorite beer during the Canada v Sweden match (guess everyone wanted to cry in their beer after the US loss) Man, I wish PGE Park had real grass all the time, was just a soccer stadium--that would be so cool. I also wish Mac had played there. The turf seemed a bit slick in the US v Germany match; maybe April didn't want to risk a re-injury? I don't know, I never heard a good explanation--but it sucked.
Great event... I'm replying to my own reply, sort of a P.S. but I wish the WWC was every two years--it's such a great event. The women don't have club jobs like the men, so four years is a really long time between big games, and a long time for fans of the game. Just a (dumb, and unrealistic) thought.
