Practically every manager out of work has been linked to the vacant job at Leicester among these names are:-

PETER REID - Looks like the favourite
IAN DOWIE - Would he leave Coventry?
GLENN ROEDER - Former West Ham & Newcastle Manager
GARY MEGSON - Took West Brom into The Premiership
PAUL JEWELL - EX Wigan manager - and my choice

Jewell, Grayson, Burley or Johnson would be impressive. However, its certain to be someone crap. In fact, the way things are going, I wouldn't be suprised if we offered the Birch the job.

My vote is for someone who's going to be given more than a year. Let someone start and finish two full seasons. No one's done that since MON left. In fact, only MON and Brian Little have done that since 1991. It's going to be very difficult to get a good manager to come to a club which has so much instability in the mangerial seat. I don't see MM as the patient kind who's going to let this happen.

Amazing its becoming a joke. Whoever takes over has his work cut out. Thanks to Martin Allen we have acquired a very poor side. It will need a manager like O'Neil to get the best out of them. I would like Paul Jewell but can't see it. Probably end up with some has been like Reid.
