Now that the Burn are definetly out of the playoff picture (not like they have been in it for a while now), who are you gonna be rooting for to win the Cup? I think I'm gonna have to go with San Jose or maybe NY.

Kansas City. Would like to see them stay ahead of the Gals and thereby secure us at least 3rd overall pick.

I'll be rooting for any team that plays DC United to knock their butts out of the playoffs.

Hey, it's Monday, a brand new week, a fresh start for the rest of the regular season.

I predict that we'll get our miracle, that we'll win the rest of our games, LA will lose the rest of theirs, and that we will win both the Brimstone and the MLS Cup. Course, I also signed off the matchtracker in the '83rd minute. I knew the result at that point, cause I'm psychic. That's why I'm ranked where I am on the prediction list.

Didn't the Angels win the pennant once? Won't the Cowboys someday return to being "America's team"?

It could happen. Haven't some teams made the type of comeback we need in some league, somewhere, sometime? No? Oh well.

Any word on Ronnie being able to play in maybe the last game of season on October 25? That's a month away - maybe he could come on as a 20 minute sub.

I told you I was psychic! That's why my ranking on the prediction list is so secure.

Notice, I posted the "new beginning" at lunch time, probably about the time they were taking him out to lunch in a public place. Wonder if Andy was able to phrase the "request"?

My first home is Boston (born and raised, still have real estate and residence there) and travel there regularly. I've always liked the Revs, even when they had the rongen guy coaching.

But if I was to be forced to pick a team other than my home teams, it would be Columbus. They've got a fantastic, atheletic combination of Buddle, West, Cunningham and McBride. Every one of those players is capable of creating/scoring amazing goals.

MLS would be lucky to have a few more of them on other teams.

I used to agree with your statement, but now I'm starting to think we may, just may, be able to make the playoffs.

Right now it's KC 29 pts and Dallas 19 pts with 5 games remaining for each team. Obviously, it's a long shot for the Burn to pass the Wizards, but KC has been absolutely dreadful these past few months.

KC's last win was back on July 17, and since then they're 0-7-2. Should KC continue their slump, the Burn might just be able to make the playoffs by winning 4 of their last 5 games.

    Dallas' remaining schedule:

Away games: San Jose, NY/NJ, KC
    Home games: New England, Colorado

Re: Re: So who are you rooting for?

you all know me, I'm always the optomist. But look at that schedule. If we make the playoffs at least we know we damn well deserve it. Wouldn't it be great to have it come down to the last game, and beat Colorado, get revenge and make the playoffs all in one night. Ok lets win the next game then talk ;)
