I've been aware of his injury for several weeks from reading the Dispatch and the boards. He could have played but with some pain. Sounds like it either got worse or it's late enough in the season to risk going ahead with the surgery.

Our Andrulis could have let him know it didn't matter if he was hurt or not, he wasn't going to play him. So he just decided to get the damn surgery, hope for a eairly recovery, and look for a new team to be good at the first year then suck rest.

Or, Andrulis, that game against Santos you decided to send Ueltschey to Montreal to sit on the bench and play KC's thrid string keeper instead, sure looks stupid now dosen't it. Of course it looked stupid then too, but it takes you a long time to catch on doesn't it.

4 games left in the season, might as well just get it now. Backup GK's don't play too much. And if Busch goes down, give Ueltschey the chance to see if he's worth keeping around next year.

That supposedly was the return share of some favor KC gave us.

Although it probably would have been better to have the favor returned some other way. But it probably wouldn't have mattered anyway. Does Ueltschey go to KC and sit on the bench or does he remain in Montreal to sit on the bench?
