    Thanks for your service Josh.

I'm sure Hamid will kick ass if Perkins gets injured :D

Oh, God, no. I cannot enlarge that picture. I think it'd result in material for nightmares for years to come. Why do I have flashbacks to the first Alien movie?

Thanks, Josh. For a very short while you seemed like a good choice. I am sad that it didn't work out. That meltdown on Burch was the beginning of the end.

    I'm going to miss that bi-polar, crazy-eyed, jaw-unlocking, son of a b*#$@.

wicks was certainly nice enough off the field when we encountered him post-game in toronto, but, yeah... best of luck in your future endeavours, Josh, unless it's against United. :)

Why does this remind me of two people discussing the end of their impulsive, Las Vegas marriage?

like Britney Spears and her HS boyfriend?

Back to Wicks - Yeah - A couple of things really hurt him - His antics on the field and his injury at the end of his season - The Team (FO and Onalfo) may not have felt the necessity of going after Perkins if it had been only one of these - After the Stomping, Simpson seemed to have influenced Wicks to channel all that energy into just GoalKeeping - And we may have decided to go with Hamid (or anybody else) for the first month of the season - But when Perkins came on the radar screen AND the fact of BOTH of Wicks' problems, that meant the end - Too bad - After Wells, we had two potentially much, much better Keepers who unfortunately couldn't stay focused

I thought Wicks showed flashes of brilliance but that volatile temperament and inconsistency were his undoing.

Still, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go on to have a solid career if gets his head right. He's got the physical skills.

I was a fan. A big fan. As for the stomping... I'd love to see anyone show that kind of fire one way or another this season.

Oh, d'oh. Don't you mean 2nd division? But then again, there really isn't a 1st division any more.

    No, he means third.

MLS = first division, and down the line it goes.

Wicks was at the Open Cup play-in game tonight mixing (with a mellow, calm and well-behaved demeanor) with the loud side crowd at halftime.

A quick update: according to their website (http://www.laazulfc.com/), it looks like Josh will be getting himself back in shape by playing for the Los Angeles Legends in the PDL this summer. Click on "Equipos", and you'll see him listed as their goalie.
