and during "Today's" I see some chicks with those "MPF" hats on talking to Al Roker.....of course the DON'T mention the team name, just wen ask what the hats are for they said (I swear word for word) "some local soccer team".

and if it was just some people trying to promote this game on their own, sorry...but this is the nickel-and-dime crap MFO would do and say they "pomoted" the team and it's all our (the fans in general) fault no one shows up

The big question is - Were they hot?

Is it too much to ask for some of the guys in the metro front office to tip some strippers really well to go do "promotional activities" like this?

Hell, MFO could probably write off their lapdances as a business expense...

Just spoke to my ticket rep. I learned that this morning, the Metro marketing folks outside the Today Show studios were told that Al Roker would not be coming out to talk to the crowd. So they left, but not before handing out the MPF stuff to the gaggles of tourists waving to the back of Katie's head. Well as we know, Al DID come out, and interviewed some tourists from Georgia wearing the MPF gear, who (frankly) didn't do a great job expaining what the Metro are about.
