So? How was the HD experience?

    Those of you who went to Coaches. How was it? I'm about to get my IRS refund and I'm wondering if I should blow it on an HD receiver and TV?

    Amazing! I couldn't believe the detail, especially for that size of screen. There was a slight time delay from Metrosports to HD but we eventually chose the HD. Very impressed here. I think Coach's has been the best place for watch parties yet.

    Picture great, announcing stunk

    The picture on the main screen in the bar was AWESOME. The picture in the private room was pretty horrid though. I opted for the main screen after halftime.

    My big complaint was the announcers. Balboa, go home. If not home, just quit announcing. Please! These guys made Madden sound like, um, (fill in really great announcer here). From what I heard of the MS feed, Newman was pretty entertaining. Not sure if I like the new play-by-play guy yet or not.

    I have karatakonis, and I am color blind. So everything to me is slightly blurry and the tint is messed up. I could still tell the difference on the comparison shots though.

    The production of it was very well done.
