Here is an event that I would like to recommend (before Metro kick off the season) if you like music off various types! The North Mississippi All Stars will be appearing at BB Kings in NYC on 3/15. I have absolutly no affliliation with the band, but was asolutly blown away when I saw them 2 summers ago in Philly. I swear their guitar player is forking phemominal! If you have nothing planned that night, or just love the blues check 'em out! http://www.nmsallstars.com/

If you like music off, why would you go see a live band?

Besides, the Saw Doctors are playing Irving Plaza that night. Good Irish cheese...

Okay, I was assuming Eric was being sarcastic, but in case he wasn't, it's the SAW Doctors, a pretty popular band in Irish circles. Can be cheesy at times, but they have written a few excellent songs. Either way, it's always a good show. I have not heard of anything about the Spin Doctors since they were struggling to sell out Wetlands a few years ago.
