Senegal next qualifying match isn't until 9/5/08 against Algeria, and after 4 matches he hasn't sniffed time, and Senegal sits atop there group by 2 points. You can read the match report here...http://www.sportsline.com/soccer/story/10873569 And get the group information, as well as results and scheduling here...http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/africa/teams/team=43879/index.html So, I only bring this up, cause I don't know about you but I am ready to see Bouna out there again. Preston "Post" Burpo, has been shaky at best. I have seen at least 10 times in 3 games that the post has saved his ass from allowing the score to be 6-1 or 7-1, as opposed to 3-1. And yes, Bouna is far from perfect, i.e. the Dynamo game in Houston when he looked like a fat elementary student whiffing on the 1st kick ball he ever approached. But I look forward to seeing 1 of the best the MLS has to offer. Anybody else excited for some "BounaTime"?!?
oh that's right! he didn't call back home or some sh1t like that right!? d@mn... straight into the dog house you go!
Maybe what was lost in translation from FC was that he didn't come back home between matches? With his athleticism I'm guessing he is one of the better soccer tennis players and maybe FC is mad he hasn't been flying back and forth, training here -- bench sitting there?
Yeah, I'm starting to think our coach doesn't even understand time zones. It's 8 hours difference! What's Bouna gonna do, call Clavijo at 6 in the morning and interrupt his beauty rest (complete with cucumbers)? Or 11 in the evening and interrupt FC's Scooby-Doo Marathon?
Burpo hasn't done bad (hey it could have been worse, maybe), i'd rather him than Thornton, personally. Now i can put Bouna back on my fantasy team
