Anybody notice that Tommy Smyth picked Carlos Ruiz to win the scoring title did not know that no player has taken it back to back. Also no player has had back to back 20 goal seasons. I am not sure Ruiz can do it . I think Twellman must have a great chance at been the top scorer. Do you think Veronica and Tommy know what they are going to talk about. Veronica came on and spoke about how good Twellman was last year. Tommy came on and said that Twellman would lose out to Ruiz again. Is that the way it will go , Tommy has one idea and Veronica has the opposite. I like that a battle of the sexes, well in the sex department Veronica wins hands down.
I would love to see a face off with Veronica and Tommy. They are both a good addition to half -time. Smyth piece was strong stand on Sat, thats what I like about him he lets it hang out. By the way can we see a picture of the two side by side. That way we can make a judgment on the sex question. MLS could be unto something really hot here. We can find out for real does Tommy put a bulge in you" old onion bag " so lets get it on.

I like the Tommy Smyth segments. The guy just seems so happy up there pontificating in his brogue (or whatever it is) and he's taking a strong position and that's what MLS needs more of, a bit of spicy controversy. Keep it up Tommy.
