Does anyone know if any of these things are allowed in the stadium? I read a list of things that were not allowed and none of these were on the list. I think it would be pretty cool to have some smoke bombs and flares going off during the game. I'm sure toilet paper wouldn't be a big deal, but I don't know about the other two.

I'm pretty sure they arent gonna let you take those things in. Maybe the toilet paper and if they dont let you bring it in, just steal some from the bathroom. I dont think the flares and smoke bombs are gonna make it in.

i'd be more concerned with smuggling in alcohol than flares or smoke bombs.

Smoke bombs and flares weren't on the list? I'm sure they were, but in a broader category. For instance, here's a list for the Louisiana Superdome:

    http://www.superdome.com/site105.php

They would probably come under fireworks on that list.

Could you give us a link to the list? I couldn't find one on the Texans' website: http://www.houstontexans.com/facility/

But, in answer to your question, there is about a 0% chance that flares and smoke bombs are allowed. Toilet paper seems to vary from stadium to stadium.

As for the Reliant Stadium rules, they must be pretty tight since they are having to relax them to even allow flags without poles!

"Stadium security rules will be the same as for Texans games with a few modifications. Vendors will serve beer in plastic cups, not plastic bottles, on Thursday night. Also, flags will be allowed inside the stadium if they are not mounted on flagpoles. Flags are prohibited during Texans games at the stadium."

Somewhere in this web page I found a list of restrictions and they are VERY strict. I would not try bringing in smoke bombs or flares.

It looks like Reliant is like Arrowhead where you can't even bring in medium sized purses or binocular cases. Even fanny packs and such aren't allowed. If you're not holding it in your hands unwrapped, you're not likely taking it in.

screw it, just bring em in and set em off. doesn't mean that you won't get in trouble, but you might not. if you wanna take em in then go right ahead, nobody's stopping you. just hide em in your pants or somethin, that's how i've gotten them in before...its not hard at all.

I've set off smoke bombs at 2 US matches and never gotten in trouble for it, but both were at RFK (they're not allowed there either, but the security isn't very tight, at least not compared to places like Foxboro and Giants Stadium).

We just set some flares and smoke bombs off at arrowhead a few weekends ago and didn't get in much trouble. I just recommend setting them off at the very end of the game.

There was a flare near Sam's Army last night and some toilet paper I noticed on the other side of the stadium.

Set a flare off at the very end of the game? What good is that?

If you're gonna set em off, do so at the very beginning, that gets everyone nutz.

flares can be bought at boat-shops (not where you buy boats but stuff for on and in the boat).

There's also an internetsite (tifo something) that sells flares, smoke bombs and whatever you might want.

Don't know the adress by heart though.
