Sunderland have sacked Howard Wilkinson and Steve Cotterill. They expect to have the new manager in charge for saturdays game against Bolton.

This is a must win game for Bolton but in order to win we have to defeat the gods of football who decree that the newly appointed manager of a struggling side will be blessed with a 3-0 win.

Bolton are not a team to buck tradition.

    Shit.

that would make a nice change, havent seen sunderland win by 3 goals in ages.

bear in mind that sunderland are good at breaking their fan's hearts when things look hopeful, so don't expect tradition to prevail. i certainly wont.

We're too strong for more than half the Premiership but there's just one little problem we have, and if you were there on saturday you know what it is (aside from Ivan Campo ;) )

    Bulging that bag.

And campo was one of the worst culprits. Astonishing miss halfway through the second half.

Exactly, we've got a strike force that's had a total of 1.5 Premiership games between them. If they adapt to the Premiership pronto we'll stay up, if not then you know where we're going. It says it all when the likes of Campo and Ricardo Gardner are in the best positions to score. The fact that we've scored 4 goals in 3/5 of our wins this season and we have 11 draws to our name says it all. When we decide to score we bang them in. We create chances, plenty of them, if the strikers could take advantage of that then a few teams are going to get a dicking from Bolton.

    We should have kept Bobic.
