Maybe one of the best shows on TV. Thus far I'd have to say that I like the direction they took in letting someone in on the secret of Clark Kent. It's added intrigue. I don't really care for the introduction of Red Kryptonite though. It has to be a one off though because now that Clark knows how it affects him, why would he don it again? The hard feelings between him and Lana I could live without. Their relationship is a major subplot to whatever evil Clark is foiling that day, making her mad at him does nothing to enhance this plot. Guess we'll wait and see, anyone else have thoughts on this show?
i'm a big fan of it as well i have about the entire first season on my 'puter i never was able to watch it at the right time, and since my vcr didn't have a timer... i just d/l-ed good show... love the lex-clark friendship
a portion of the show I regretably forgot about. you are right, the clark-lex friendship is definately something that keeps the show moving. My guess is that due to the timeline of the show, clark and lex will never be enemies on Smallville. Maybe if the show goes into four of five seasons, but I don't want to get ahead of myself.
you can surmise that from commenting on one show? wow, you are a better man than i my friend i'll take note of this and quit watching this show so that i pretty much don't want watch tv... as it's the only show i watch i don't count the daily show, because i constantly miss the daily show and it's reruns... i just wish i could watch it all the time once again, thanks for letting me know that i watch way too much tv.
I wish the whole show was about Lex Luthor, he's more interesting right now than Clark Kent. By the way, Bruce Wayne from Gotham City will be making an appearance this season.
sweet i'm imagining that he will have something to do with lex's past... both are from rich ass families i wonder what this would have been like if they did it for bruce instead of clark god, i hope i didn't just start a spinoff
anyone wonder what's going to happen when Lex finds the octagon disk? I thought the episode about Lex getting married under the spell of that hot chick was really good.
I'm just curious as to what they can do when they all graduate. I'm sure if Clark ended up in Metropolis for college it would create all new possibilities, but his distance from the "meteor rocks" would remove a lot of the weekly villains that pop up. Who's to say Clark goes to college though, he may be stuck at the farm. You'd think if it was his senior year he they would have mentioned him looking for a college at least, but I'm sure I'm being too realistic.
If I remember right, they are Sophomores this year? That gives them two seasons after this one. If he should go to Metropolis, maybe they could introduce an arch-enemy.
Sophmores? Geez Clark doesn't even look close to being a sophmore in college let alone HS. Lana was dating a senior as a freshman? Hmmm...I guess the one where Lex had the birthday party for Lana was her 15th so I suppose that's correct. Was Clark driving last year? Pete's about the only one who looks his "age" anyway.
here's the nuts and bolts though, who do you think is better looking, and does that necesarily mean better to date, Lana, or Chloe?
Looks-wise I was leaning towards Chloe last year but she looks a bit heavier this year. She still looks good but Lana is better looking. Still would rather get with Chloe than Lana though. Lana seems a little too high maintenance for my tastes, plus dating the star quarterback knocks her down a few levels in my book.
I totally agree with your assesment. I just think Chloe seems like a much cooler girl. Although I'm sure she would be high maintainace as well.
Apparently, in Kansas, you can get a driver's license at 14. For farmers' kids who live far away from school. They can legally drive to and from school or on farm-related trips only, but I imagine that the system is open to abuse. http://www.ksrevenue.org/dmvteen.htm
