Who knew all the good goalkeepers would be wiped out so soon, u got that Steele's number? And hal must know the mystery chip is you can play two goalkeepers al season, but no forwards...
It's 10 PM my time. Off to bed. Since I wake up several times a night, I'll check in each time to see if the draft gets back to me.
Hal knows Raya is good with his feet and is planning on playing him at forward. That's why he doesn't need any others!
Good night all. Will be travelling all tomorrow. Will check in and send some Ipswich Town proxies at all hours.
like that. Well Chelsea's new coach had gk Sanchez positioned as a defensive right back on attack some this preseason Anyway I am here and not leaving til Hal picks a forward...
Not sure why we have a hold-up. However, since all those picking before my Round 13 pick already have a full complement of forwards, I made my 13-5 pick for Delap so you can go straight from Dizzy to lobo in Round 13.
It's getting about that time where we plan when the last pick will be made so that the 24 hour waiting period gives all of us an equal chance at the start of the Post-Draft Squad Adjustment period. I think we have managers in the GMT time zone and westward to Pacific Daylight Time. If that is accurate, if blech makes his final pick at 10 AM PDT, that would be 1 PM EDT and about 6-7 PM for our UK picker. An 8 AM PDT final pick would be 4-5 PM for Journeymen. So if the final pick is somewhere between 8 AM and noon PDT, that would be 4 PM to 8-9 PM for Journeymen and we would all have an equal shot to begin the first come, first served Post-Draft Squad Adjustment Phase. What do the rest of you say is your preferred time to take the last pick and start the Post-Draft Squad Adjustment period 24 hours later? Anyone added to the FPL database after we started the Small Rocks draft would be eligible for picking up and dropping someone you drafted.
At my 14th round turn I'll pick my last two forwards and then just await the posting of the final pick that determines the Post-Draft Squad Adjustment period.
Dizzy and Hal have all the goalkeepers, so I will make my pick now and Dizzy can move it to Bob after his pick
I see I can also make my 14th round pick if I chose a forward so I will do so now and check in the morning to see what gk is left in 15th round.
not sure why but Zirkzee is misspelled in player list as "Kirkzee F MUN 7.0" but I am going to correct and pick him now
Yes, Hal is up and can take his forwards for both round 14 (and 15 if he wants). Dizzy can proceed with his defender pick in round 14 since Hal will be taking a forward. Wendys can take his GK in round 14 and the final midfielder with the round 15 slot if so inclined. Then it's to Tarv, who needs to wait for Dizzy or Wendys depending on whether he's going G or D in round 14. With all that done, it will be waiting for Journeymen when he awakes. If anyone has proxies, please speak up, but I'm otherwise presuming it doesn't return until tomorrow morning.
I am out to morning. The 24 hours clock I would say, whatever works with Journeyman, assuming it is not middle of the night /early morning in States
To follow up on the posts by @Hal and @lobomojo , I've got the power of having the last pick so I suppose I can handle unilaterally if necessary , but I'm assuming we can reach a time that everyone signs off on regardless of when the pick is actually made and skip the 24-hour rule. As noted above, it looks like we'll have a handful of picks to wrap up Tuesday morning (US time). So, I'm assuming we are talking about opening the transfer window on Wednesday. I will be traveling Wednesday but could do it early before we leave. If it works for everyone, I'd propose that the transfer window open on Wednesday at 7am (pacific), 8 am (mountain), 10 am (eastern), and I believe it's 3pm (UK time). Does that not work for anyone? Note: It will likely be a little less than 24 hours from the last pick, but I'm proposing this specific time.
