Hi All, just created a private league on the official MLS website fantasy page for 8 teams maximum called: MLS All-Rockstars. The league code is E3RYTF4L. For those interested please join this league soon so we can hopefully have all 8 teams from All-Rocks. I’ll need to open it to public if we have less than 8 teams, not a problem if that’s the case but would be preferred if the league is solely All-Rocks. Thanks and hope to see you there!

Not to be ungrateful for perhaps avoiding yet another wooden spoon, but Salah could have not done this once last game week

still very tempted, hope this is not a one off aberration, he does look like he has lost a quarter step of pace this season or he just heard I drafted him and had it in for me since I called him names for joining Liverpool

With all due respect and then some to all the Liverpool supporters who play in our League and have proved to be fine pleasant gentlemen:cautious::D:

I did not think it was possible for me to loath Liverpool Football Club any more then I already did before the season, but between Captain Salah, except for last week , going to get me relegated, and not being able to enjoy the unbridled joy of a Liverpool bad outing...

And the week starts with both my Captain and Vice Captain on the bench...so far so good:

I'm going to wait until after GW29 to due the "3rd quarter" update on the standings, as it mathematically falls at 28.5....

In the meantime, I was looking at the original draft board and spotted all of the nuggets that were grabbed in round 7. There are still 10 GWs to go, so things could change, but aside from round 1, round 7 is the only other round that I found that had SIX players who have over 100 points through 28 gameweeks. Comparing these two rounds:

    The 6 top-performing picks from the round 1 have scored 889 points combined so far (1.1 Salah (154), 1.2 KDB (129), 1.3 Haaland (203), 1.4 Kane (182), 1.5 Son (102), and 1.8 Fernandes (119))....

    While the 6 top-performing picks from round 7 have 807 so far, (7.1 Barnes (102), 7.2 Watkins (115), 7.3 Rashford (156), 7.6 Odegaard (153), 7.7 Trippier (154), and 7.8 Trossard (127)....

It's not as close between the rounds 1 and 7 if the lowest two scorers are included, as round 1 had 1.6 TAA (96) and 1.7 Jesus (71) and round 7 had 7.4 Antonio (53) and 7.5 Calvert Lewin (25), but I was only counting 100+ and it seemed fair enough to drop the two lowest scorers. In any event, it stood out how all of these very solid 100+ picks were clustered together in the middle of the draft in round 7!

In terms getting to 100 points so far in other rounds,
    --Round 2 had 1 player -- Maddison (105),
    --Round 3 had 2 players -- Foden (109), Saka (170),
    --Round 4 had 2 players -- Martinelli (157), Allison (119),
    --Round 5 had none, and
    --Round 6 had 2 players -- Toney (145), Ward-Prowse (105)....

    Well done in round 7!

Note: In these two critical rounds, I failed completely, getting the 6th best from round 1 and the 8th best in round 7 when the rest of you were picking up gems....

Halfheartedly tried to look at old threads to find out, but admittedly not too hard...
Are we allowed to use the chips (triple captain and bench boost) with our draft teams? I think we are, but wanted to make sure. Obviously the free hit doesn't work for a draft team. Thanks!

You have it right. Yes to triple captain and bench boost. No to the free hit.

It is not currently allowed, BUT I remain a minority (or perhaps even the sole) proponent of draft-league free hit!!!

In order to use it, you would have to announce free hit with your first transfer that week, and then rather than losing the players you drop, they would go on the equivalent of a one-week injured reserve, no one else could pick them up, and then they are back in your active roster the next week. Players picked up by someone using free hit can't be picked up by anyone that GW, but they would then be available as soon as the next GW begins.

Perhaps a small advantage to the person who declares free hit first, and it may be that most would decide not to free hit in a given GW if one or two others have already used it that week to begin grabbing up players.

It would be a little difficult to track--which is why it would be important for it to be declared immediately--but it can only happen 8 times (once per team) during a season, so it is doable. Free hit would be a nice fix for those occasions when you're bungled by short term injuries or have too many players without a game or what not or you just want to take a flyer without losing your players for a short term play.

I would be for it as long as you are only allowed to pick free agents, not borrow ie a 2nd Haaland, though I would encourage borrowing a 2nd to 8th Salah most weeks.
