With an open team the young CPL defender valued at 4.0 could be a good call but I don't have that issue with the drafted team. Funnily enough Celtic were supposed to be seriously interested in him a couple of years ago before he flew well out of our price range.

I was never overly comfortable with the Maddison selection which sounds strange as I drafted him quite highly.

Oh well. Lets see how it goes.

yeah I think it was last year I drafted him, Maddison, high and held on to him too long; not sure if it was a bit of injury, Brendan's change of approach, or too high of expectations though looking at his numbers they were close both seasons so

He can do brilliant play then disappear for a good while

Sorry about the double post in the transfer thread. Left it there though as didn't think I should be deleting anything. I guess I really wanted another injured player to add to the list!

I was a bit sluggish on Tangers' Pepe to Havertz buffet this morning. I was left to sweep up the crumbs. Corrected my Robson-Kanu pick (thanks again Tanger). Just wanted to let you know he's available if you want to pair him with Austin.

Nice pick up on Harvertz. I’ve been out on a bike ride with the kids all day!!

    *** TRANSFER ANNOUNCEMENT ***

I've reserved Gareth Bale for when he signs as I'm expecting him to give up the sticks and get back to the footy and score 200+ points like he did back in his heyday.

I asked @DrHeckle for permission for the reservation and he said I was all good

You best hope that FPL doesn't go back to the heyday of a 12.0 price tag as well....

I have a feeling it's going to be a good weekend for sport.

Have Nick Chubb in my NFL fantasy team so off to a flyer in my match-up this weekend. Although Amari 'glass ankles' Cooper is marked as questionable ... again!

    He better suit up.

    ** EDIT **

    Update ---

Analysis: Cooper was added to the injury report Thursday as a limited participant due to the foot issue, but it doesn't appear to be a serious concern. The 26-year-old could still carry an injury designation into the weekend, but barring a setback he should be able to play Week 2.

    On track for Sunday
Cooper (foot) went through Friday's walkthrough and coach Mike McCarthy doesn't anticipate any setbacks heading into Sunday's game versus Atlanta, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Same thing as always. Doherty comes out this week and points earned are deducted, in this case 2. The spreadsheet has B.Mendy in place of Doherty.

That is an odd one. We will need to have Tangers transfer him out. That will cost him 4 points since he has already made two transfers this week and an additional 2 points he earned in week 1. We'll wait on Tangers to tell us what happened but i suspect he had him there on his pre-draft team and didn't make the switch to Mendy.

    Feck!

    That's exactly what happened.

Doherty was on my 'auto pick' team, and forgot to change him for Mendy wheb drafted (was he my last pick?)

I'll bring Mendy in now for a -4

Chairman wouldn't let me pull the trigger on the Welshman. Apparently we have too many sick notes in our squad already. :(

I was hoping he would come in as a forward somehow so I could fix my misguided Tammy pick (really thought he would play early with Werner on left til Pul back:rolleyes:) or pick up a dropped forward if I was slow

I have no idea what you're talking about. What's a 'forward'...?

I don't think I've seen one of those.

At Chelsea a forward at best, up North a striker:

Sutty would score more points than my three 'forwards' combined at present.

Messi money. Bale money. "____" money. We are confident that you will eventually find a way to spend it!
